First Time DACA Applicants Can Now Apply

USCIS is now accepting first-time DACA applications, so if you are able to prove you entered the U.S. prior to your 16th birthday, on/before June 15, 2007, have been physically present in the U.S. since then, and have a high school diploma, GED or currently enrolled in school or GED program, and otherwise do not pose a risk to public safety, national security interests or have certain criminal convictions, you might be eligible to receive a work permit through DACA.
